With its self-titled motto, “a positive social contagion” serving as its foundation, jeffstaple and his namesake creative agency, Staple Design, has long been a prevalent force in fashion, design, art and culture. Today, Staple announces his latest socially conscious collaborative effort alongside the truth campaign.
Named after the campaign’s unique Pantone color, the “truth1585 Collection,” takes aim at spreading a message to “Open Your Eyes” to the lies and manipulations around you.
For the 1585 Collection, Staple designed eight unique t-shirts that are set to release on December 5th. Each t-shirt will be stocked at a carefully chosen list of eight boutiques and street fashion stores across the US in New York City, Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
Providing a uniquely localized appeal, Staple worked with each boutique to craft a t-shirt design that was fit for each shop’s respective clientele. Aligning with the truth1585 Collection, a new website, truth1585.com, will be launched as a portal to highlight the range of product and gear as well as tell the story and progression behind the project.
